Best Of The Carolinas, Vol. 2 - A Spotify Playlist
You might never get tired of the Summer Of Pusha vs. Drizzy, but chances are, at some point you will. And when that moment arrives, the Best Of The Carolinas playlist will be patiently waiting for you.
Moving away from the J. Coles, Phontes and Rapsodys of last week, Vol. 2 puts the spotlight on smaller acts that casual fans might just be getting to know: Siyah, Marley Pitch, Deejay Riley, Sonny Miles and Tange Lomax among them. There's also a nod to Raleigh rapper Pat Junior, whose video for "ode to a jumpoff" was just released this past week, as well as New Jersey native Angelo Mota, whose new album, When All Is Said And Done, came out on Friday. His Immaculate Taste label status qualifies him for the playlist (and this site, in general).
